ExJAM Foundation Marks Sixteen Years of Service
The ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation celebrates 15 years of supporting alumni members and their families through health, education, and welfare interventions.

Eighteen members received specialist eye care in July 2024 through a partnership with a private ophthalmic hospital. The Foundation funded laser corrective surgery for 11 members and cataract removal for 7 — all paid directly to the hospital.
The partnership originated from a board-initiated review of recurring health requests. Eye conditions had appeared in 14 separate case submissions over the preceding two years. The board negotiated a group rate with the hospital, reducing per-member cost by 22%.
Total disbursement: ₦9.3 million. Each procedure was pre-authorised by the board after verification of medical necessity. No cash was passed to members at any stage.
Members with vision conditions are encouraged to submit a case through the normal process. The board assesses eye care applications on a case-by-case basis — the hospital partnership remains active for 2025.

The Board of Trustees was confirmed at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Governance documents are available to all active members on request.

ExJAM Ambassadors are members who volunteer to refer and support fellow alumni — connecting those in need with the Foundation's programmes and helping the network grow.
