ExJAM Foundation Marks Sixteen Years of Service
The ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation celebrates 15 years of supporting alumni members and their families through health, education, and welfare interventions.

Following the September 2024 flooding in Benue State, the Foundation disbursed welfare payments to four member families whose homes were affected. The board convened an emergency session within 48 hours of receiving the first notification.
Total disbursement: ₦2.1 million, paid in two tranches. Funds were transferred to verified members' accounts — used for temporary accommodation, replacement of household items, and food. Supporting receipts were submitted to the board secretary.
The Foundation does not cover structural rebuilding costs. Payments are intended to stabilise families in the immediate aftermath — typically covering 30 to 90 days of displacement costs.
Any member affected by a natural disaster or emergency should contact their chapter ambassador immediately. The board can convene within 24 hours for urgent welfare cases.

The Board of Trustees was confirmed at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. Governance documents are available to all active members on request.

ExJAM Ambassadors are members who volunteer to refer and support fellow alumni — connecting those in need with the Foundation's programmes and helping the network grow.
