ExJAM Foundation Marks Sixteen Years of Service
The ExJAM Humanitarian Foundation celebrates 15 years of supporting alumni members and their families through health, education, and welfare interventions.

The Board of Trustees approved revised welfare eligibility guidelines in December 2024, effective from January 2025. The changes clarify response timelines and expand the definition of qualifying welfare events.
Under the updated guidelines, bereavement payments are now processed within 5 working days of board receipt of a verified claim — down from the previous 10-day target. The board cited improved administrative flow and digital submission as enabling the faster timeline.
The revised guidelines also formally include flood and fire displacement as qualifying welfare events. Previously these were assessed case-by-case. The board approved standardised payment bands for each displacement category.
All active members were notified of the changes by email in December 2024. The updated guidelines document is available on request from info@exjamfoundation.org.
